Significant enhancements are available in Bentley Building Electrical Systems V8i including features for energy efficiency calculations, publishing lighting calculation grid results to the BIM model, parametric modeling and routing of electrical raceway systems, and other new functions and content.  Bentley Building Electrical Systems V8i is the first BIM application to integrate lighting software for accurate point by point calculations, incorporating manufacturers’ luminaire data for power requirements and calculating lighting power densities in accordance with ASHRAE/IESNA 90.1.  We will also introduce a new product, Bentley Building Electrical Systems V8i for AutoCAD, which is focused AEC electrical application for AutoCAD users.
